At DB Tech LLC, your privacy matters to us. We build our apps with privacy in mind and minimize the data our apps use. DB Tech LLC does not operate user accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking systems, or servers that collect app data. Some app features may use Apple system services (including in-app purchases handled by the App Store), external map data services, web pages you ask an app to read, user-initiated sharing, such as sending an email draft, or an optional sign-in to your own third-party service account (such as Tesla, for FusionCam’s encrypted-clip feature), as described below.

This Privacy Policy covers all apps published by DB Tech LLC on the Apple App Store (iOS, iPadOS, and macOS), including FusionCam For Tesla, MemeGIF, Postcast, and RoadFix STP (we’ll call them “the Apps”). It doesn’t apply to third-party websites or services you might reach from links inside our Apps.

Information We Collect

We don’t collect personal information from you on DB Tech LLC servers.

  • No DB Tech LLC accounts or sign-ups are required. (FusionCam For Tesla offers an optional sign-in to your own Tesla account for decrypting encrypted clips; see the FusionCam section below.)
  • We don’t track how you use the Apps, collect analytics, or log crashes.
  • We don’t follow your activity across other apps or websites.
  • We don’t sell personal information.

Most processing happens locally on your device. For example:

  • FusionCam For Tesla works with TeslaCam footage you already have on your device or connected storage. This footage may contain embedded location and telemetry data (such as GPS, speed, and Autopilot status), which is read and processed entirely on your device to display and export overlays. Your footage and its telemetry are never uploaded. The only network activity in FusionCam is the optional Tesla sign-in and decryption-key request described in the section below. Videos you export are saved to a location you choose and are shared only if and when you choose to share them.
  • MemeGIF imports GIFs you select from Files or Photos, edits them entirely on your device, and exports the result to a location you choose or saves it to Photos. Your GIFs are never uploaded.
  • Postcast turns links you share or paste, documents you import, and text you paste into audio, and the voice that reads them runs entirely on your device. The only network activity in Postcast is fetching the page or post you asked it to read, as described in the Postcast section below. Your library, the audio it generates, and where you left off in each article stay on your device.
  • RoadFix STP stores saved pothole reports locally on your device.

RoadFix STP

RoadFix STP helps users prepare pothole reports for Saint Paul, Minnesota.

DB Tech LLC does not collect, receive, store, or sell pothole reports, location data, notes, map images, or email contents from RoadFix STP.

RoadFix STP stores saved reports locally on your device. A saved report may include the pothole location, GPS coordinates, typed notes, report status, and an annotated map image. You can delete saved reports in the app.

RoadFix STP uses bundled OpenStreetMap intersection data to estimate nearby road and cross-street details. This data is included with the app and no coordinates are sent to OpenStreetMap or any third-party service for cross-street lookups.

When you choose to open an email draft, RoadFix STP creates a user-reviewable email addressed to the City of Saint Paul pothole reporting address. The email is not sent by RoadFix STP automatically. If you tap Send in Mail, or share/copy the draft into another email app, the report contents are sent through your chosen email app and email provider to the email recipient.

Postcast

Postcast turns articles, social posts, documents, and pasted text into audio you can listen to like a podcast.

DB Tech LLC does not collect, receive, store, or sell the links you share, the text Postcast extracts, the documents you import, the audio it generates, or your listening history.

Links you share or paste. When you share or paste a link, Postcast fetches that page and extracts the readable text on your device. That fetch is the same kind of request a web browser makes, so the site you asked for sees it, and the site’s own privacy policy applies to it. Postcast loads the page in a private web view that keeps no history and doesn’t share cookies or sign-ins with Safari or other apps, and it blocks the page’s images, media, fonts, and pop-ups because it only needs the text. A link is fetched only when you ask, and it is never sent anywhere else.

Posts on X. For a link to a post on X, Postcast asks X’s public post service for the text of that post and, for a reply, the posts above it in the thread, using only the post’s ID. No X account or sign-in is needed, and the request is handled under X’s own privacy policy. Postcast is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by X Corp.

Documents and pasted text. PDF and text files you import are opened through the system file picker, so Postcast only sees the file you pick. Files and pasted text are processed entirely on your device and never uploaded.

Speech runs on your device. The voice that reads your articles ships inside the app and runs entirely on your device, with no network connection needed. Nothing you read is ever sent to a server for synthesis.

What stays on your device. Your library, folders, generated audio, and listening positions are stored locally on your device. You can delete articles in the app, and Recently Deleted keeps them for 30 days before they are removed for good.

FusionCam For Tesla: Tesla Sign-In and Encrypted Clips

Newer Tesla vehicle software (2026.20 and later) encrypts Dashcam and Sentry Mode clips saved to the USB drive. FusionCam For Tesla can detect these encrypted clips and decrypt them on your device. This feature is optional, and it is the only FusionCam feature that uses the network.

Signing in with Tesla (optional). To decrypt clips in the app, you sign in with your own Tesla account. FusionCam shows Tesla’s own sign-in page in a secure web view. Your Tesla email and password are entered only on Tesla’s page. FusionCam never sees or stores them. FusionCam is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc., and this sign-in uses a Tesla web interface that is not an official Tesla integration. Every other FusionCam feature works without signing in.

What stays on your device. After you sign in, Tesla issues the app a temporary access token. That token is stored only in your device’s Keychain and marked this-device-only. It is never synced to iCloud, never included in backups of other devices, and never sent to DB Tech LLC, which operates no servers. It expires on its own after about 8 hours, and “Sign Out of Tesla” in the app’s Settings deletes it and all web session data immediately.

What is sent to Tesla. When you choose to decrypt clips, FusionCam sends Tesla a small amount of key information read from your own clip files: your vehicle’s VIN, a key ID, a timestamp, and the encrypted (“wrapped”) key stored inside each clip. This is sent solely to obtain the decryption key for your request. Your video is never uploaded. Decryption happens entirely on your device, and DB Tech LLC never receives, stores, or has access to any of it.

Tesla’s role. Information sent to Tesla is handled under Tesla’s own privacy policy at https://www.tesla.com/legal/privacy. You can revoke the app’s access at any time by signing out in the app’s Settings, and you can review third-party access to your Tesla account at https://www.tesla.com/support/access-third-party-apps.

In-App Purchases

Some Apps offer optional in-app purchases. For example, FusionCam For Tesla offers a one-time FusionCam Pro purchase that unlocks additional features, and MemeGIF offers a one-time unlock that removes the export watermark. Postcast is a one-time purchase on the App Store and has no in-app purchases.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. DB Tech LLC does not receive, store, or have access to your payment, credit card, or billing information.

Your purchase status is verified on your device using Apple’s StoreKit and is stored locally on your device. We don’t send this information to DB Tech LLC servers. Apple’s handling of your purchase is covered by Apple’s own privacy policy.

Device Permissions

To do their job, our Apps may ask for permission to access things like Photos, Files, or Location.

We use these permissions only for the feature you choose to use. We do not upload, store, or send permission data to DB Tech LLC servers.

FusionCam For Tesla may request access to the files or folders you select, so it can read your TeslaCam footage and save the videos you export. It works only with the files and folders you choose.

MemeGIF may request add-only access to Photos so it can save the GIFs you export. When you import a GIF from Photos, it uses the system photo picker, so it only sees the file you pick and doesn’t need access to your library. It also works with GIF files you choose from Files.

Postcast doesn’t ask for any device permissions. When you import a PDF or text file, it uses the system file picker, so it only sees the file you pick. On iPhone and iPad, the Postcast share extension receives only the link or text you choose to share with it.

RoadFix STP may request:

  • Location access, so you can center the map near your current location and confirm the exact pothole pin.
  • Mail access through Apple’s mail composer, so you can review and send a pothole report email.

You can change or revoke these permissions anytime in your device settings. Some features may not work without the related permission.

No Tracking, Ads, or Analytics

Our Apps don’t include:

  • Analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics
  • Advertising networks or ad identifiers
  • Cookies, tracking pixels, or similar technologies
  • Cross-app or cross-website tracking

Some features rely on system or external services needed for app functionality. For RoadFix STP, this may include Apple services for location, maps, geocoding, and email composition. Cross-street lookups use bundled OpenStreetMap intersection data included with the app. DB Tech LLC does not use these services to track users or build user profiles. For FusionCam For Tesla, the optional encrypted-clip feature makes user-initiated requests to Tesla’s service as described above; these are never used for tracking, advertising, or analytics. For Postcast, this may include Apple’s Now Playing controls on the lock screen, in Control Center, and on connected devices such as CarPlay, the websites you ask it to read, and X’s public post service, as described above. Children’s Privacy

Our Apps aren’t designed for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from kids. If we ever learn we’ve received any, we’ll delete it right away.

Data Security

Since DB Tech LLC does not collect app data on our servers, there is no app data on our servers to protect or breach. Your local files and saved app data stay on your device, protected by iOS device security, such as device encryption and the user’s device lock settings.

For RoadFix STP, saved reports and map images are stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard app storage. If you send a report email, that email is handled by your chosen email app, your email provider, and the recipient.

For Postcast, your library and generated audio are stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard app storage. The audio is left out of device backups because Postcast can regenerate it.

Your Privacy Rights

DB Tech LLC does not collect app data on our servers, so there are generally no server-side data access, deletion, or portability requests to handle. If you have any concerns or think we’ve somehow received information, just reach out. We’re happy to help.

You can manage permissions, delete saved app data where the app provides that option, or delete the Apps and any local files they created whenever you want.

Compliance

We follow applicable privacy laws, including CCPA, GDPR (where it applies), and Apple’s App Store rules. Because DB Tech LLC does not collect app data on our servers, most data-subject rights do not apply to data held by us. Data you choose to send through Apple Mail or another provider is handled by those services and the recipient.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever need to update this policy, we’ll post the new version on our website at https://www.dbtechmn.com and update the Effective Date above. For big changes, we’ll also mention it in app update notes when possible.
